This website is dedicated to 2 men who had significant influence on my developmental years.  My maternal grandfather, Walter ‘Carl’ Kaltenbach, a profoundly skilled craftsman in wood and metal, who’s German upbringing inspired a work ethic grounded in perfection, and inspired me to learn the elementary skills of the trades and pursue the creative skills that separate the average hobbyist from the masters.  He also encouraged me to accumulate all the education possible, while backing it up with the life enriching talents of the trades.

Secondly, my father, Wayne Street, who’s commitment to duty, perseverance and integrity taught me to not quit until the job was done and to always do the right thing.  He tirelessly worked unimaginable hours to provide for his family to the best of his ability.  A Korean War vet, he never shunned his duty to God and country, but went off to war and paid a heavy price, enduring the effects of “war sickness”, later termed PTSD, most of his life.
